Our service offerings
Is your company planning to officially start commercial UAS/drone’s activities in Belgium or elsewhere in the European Union?
Given the expected rapid take off of this industry sector, competition between service providers is fierce. Only trustworthy and legally compliant companies will be recognized and able to survive in this niche market.
The recent adoption of the amended EU Basic Regulation in 2018 will bring an important harmonisation within the European UAS level playing field. However within each EU Member State it will still be entitled to impose complementary national or local rules (currently under revision). Moreover all supervisory bodies (such as for example Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), local communes, police forces and courts) do apply a zero tolerance policy to regulatory infringements and accidents.
Therefore, we recommend you to timely undertake a prior legal screening by experienced legal experts in this regulatory patchwork and this right before the start of your activities.
Our firm has been closely monitoring the progress of the European and Belgian legislation and has built up a strong technical and business acumen in this niche industry sector; we are therefore well placed to give savvy and practical legal advice to our customers.
For this reason, InDiGo Legal >, as a pioneer in the European and Belgian UAS/drone legal market, has launched:
- this UAS-drones Legal Support portal via our periodical newsletter through which we will share relevant legal news, know how and tips & tricks on the further implementation of the European and national drone legislation: register here for our newsletter
